Water-washable soil and powder dryer

The EPD series is a dryer suitable for drying, sterilizing and sterilizing powdered samples, including drying soil and crops in agriculture, reusing them in fertilizers and feed, sterilizing powdered materials in food, characterizing granules in pharmaceuticals (moisture content, particle size distribution, apparent density, flowability), and drying silica gel for reuse in the chemical industry.

The biggest feature is that the air volume adjustment function controls powder scattering, and the inside of the tank can be washed with water after processing.

Even if you simply say "drying," there are various uses for it.
It can be used for drying processes tailored to your specific needs and objectives.

Rectified crosswind and airflow adjustment

The crosswind circulation system reduces the amount of wind obstructed by the tray, improving temperature uniformity within the tank. Furthermore, the variable airflow function allows for adjustment of the airflow rate, effectively preventing powder from scattering.

Wash the inside of the tank and keep it clean

The inside of the tank is waterproof and can be cleaned by pouring water directly over it. This allows for efficient water washing of soil stains and powder adhering to the tank.

Wide range of set temperatures and programmed operation

It can be set up to 200℃, so it can be used not only for drying but also for sterilization and dry heat sterilization. Furthermore, the 8-step program setup allows for various applications, such as step-by-step temperature increase settings.

Reduced drying and temperature unevenness

For drying the powder, the tray is mainly laid out and inserted into the dryer. Therefore, the tray must not obstruct the airflow. Furthermore, in many cases of powder drying for food and other products, the process is carried out not only to remove moisture but also to perform dry heat sterilization and sterilization.
Therefore, uneven temperature and drying within the tank can lead to variations in processing quality as well as sterilization and sterilization defects.

To improve these challenges, this series employs a crosswind circulation system that flows wind from left to right into the tank. This ensures that even with the shelves installed, wind can easily spread to each stage, providing uniform hot air throughout the sample.
Additionally, up to 10 shelves (optional) can be installed, allowing for efficient processing of large quantities of powder and sample at once while ensuring airflow.
This contributes to stabilizing drying quality and improving temperature accuracy during dry heat sterilization and sterilization.

Adjusting the airflow to reduce powder scattering

It has a variable air volume function to reduce powder scattering.
With 10 adjustable airflow levels, you can use either a gentle breeze to reduce powder scattering or a strong wind that is ideal for drying your equipment.

If the inside of the tank gets dirty, wash it with water

Dirt accumulated by powder scattering can be washed with water.
The inside of the tank is waterproof and can be washed directly with water.
This prevents contamination when processing different samples.

"Step operation" suitable for drying delicate crops

Rapid drying of crops can cause cracking, peeling, and uneven drying. Therefore, it needs to be dried over a sufficient amount of time.
By performing a "step operation" that gradually increases the set temperature, it becomes possible to dry slowly, ensuring stable drying without compromising quality.

Temperature overflow prevention device

Two anti-over-the-top devices prevent accidents.

  • If the tank temperature becomes abnormal, an alarm will sound and the operation will stop.
  • If the temperature regulator fails and becomes uncontrollable, an independent anti-overrise device separate from the control circuit will activate and an alarm will sound to stop operation.

Sensor anomaly detection

An alarm will sound and stop operation if the temperature sensor fails.
Instruments crucial for temperature control prevent equipment from running out of control.

Heater break detection

An alarm will sound and stop operation when the current level drops due to a broken heater or other reason.

Fan motor malfunction

If a malfunction occurs in the blower motor, the motor and temperature control will stop and the heater circuit will be shut off, preventing the risk of fire and other hazards.

Ground fault breaker

Senses a power leakage in the equipment and turns off the main power supply. It activates in the event of a water leak or electrical component failure, preventing electric shock to the user.
